What’s beyond África borders
The continent of Africa is surrounded by water on all sides, except for its connection with Asia in the northeast through the Isthmus of Suez.
In the North, the Mediterranean Sea separates Africa from Europe. Countries across the sea include Italy, Greece, Spain, and Turkey among others.
From East, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean lie to the east of Africa. Across these bodies of water are countries in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman, and further east are the countries of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
In the South, the continent extends up to the Southern Ocean. The landmass nearest to the southern tip of Africa is Antarctica.
From West, liest the Atlantic Ocean until the countries of South America, Central America, and North America.
And in the North East, the Isthmus of Suez in Egypt connects Africa to Asia. The countries of the Middle East like Israel, Lebanon, and Syria, and beyond them the rest of Asia lie in this direction.
